About
As a humanitarian with an unyielding passion for travel and people, Brisbane-based photographer Jonathan Clifford followed his heart’s desires to embark on a career in photojournalism, social documentary and travel photography.
Developing a keen interest in photography as a teenager living in England, Jonathan pursued his creative instincts to move half way around the world to Brisbane, Australia to attend Griffith University’s Queensland College of Arts (QCA).
Graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Photography, Jonathan achieved dual majors in Photojournalism and Communication Design.
Armed with education, experience and an unmatched professional excitement, Jonathan traveled to Cebu City, Philippines where he worked for 3 months with UK-based non-government organisation Mercy in Action. Volunteering both his time and skill as a photographer, Jonathan worked with Mercy in Action on various goodwill projects; including a drop-in centre for street kids, weekly prison visits and youth feeding missions.
Jonathan currently resides in Brisbane and is available for freelance work.
