A friend came up from Melbourne for the weekend so we headed up the coast to see my folks at their new place. The weather wasn’t the best but it’s always nice to get away from Brisbane, even if only for a couple of days. It also provided another opportunity to put some rolls through my new camera and get a bit more comfortable using it before it’s first real outing at Splendour in the Grass this weekend.

What started out as an exceptionally boring morning cooped up inside sorting out cluttered hard drives turned into an awesome afternoon of champagne breakfasts, cider in New Farm park and cheap steak. Can’t help but love these perfect Brisbane winter days.
