About
Born in England in 1986, at 18 Jonathan moved to Australia to complete a Bachelor of Photography, majoring in photojournalism and communication design.
With a strong desire to explore the world around him and connect with its people, he favours intimate projects and working closely with individuals, telling their stories in an effort to illustrate broader social issues.
Jonathan has traveled extensively to pursue projects involving gender issues, poverty, displacement and natural disasters, including the Manila flooding of 2009 where he worked alongside various NGOs to document the effects of the tragedy.
He is a founding member of the ET AL. Photo Collective, providing a group of emerging photojournalists and social documentary photographers a platform to present their work for development and discussion.
